Time Flies- Mixed Media Canvas

Hello Crafty friends,

Today I have a mixed media project to share.

In my last craft shopping I bought a lot of small canvases and today's project is also on a small canvas measuring 6'*6" only.

I was inspired by the moodboard at mixed Media Warriors and decided to make something. 

I layered some burlap and chipboard to make a base for my project on the canvas.

Then I created the Time angel and so the title of my project "Time Flies"...

I have used a lot of metal, resin and chipboard embellishments here.

Upcycled Pen Holder

Hello Crafty Souls,

Today I'm at Make My Monday challenge blog where the theme for this time is "GO Green -Upcycle".
For this I chose to alter a Tissue Roll.
I used corrugated sheet and burlap to make the surface of the roll and change it into a beautiful Pen Stand. Ofcourse you can keep anything in it...brushes, pens, pencils...
I chose my favourite theme under the sea and worked on it, this time a lighter shade.

Card for MMM Challenge

Hi Friends,

Today I'm at Make My Monday Challenge blog with my DT inspiration.
The theme for challenge #71 is "Hint of Summer to come"
I made a summer under the sea theme card.
For this I used the backing paper from Prima Flowers as the base, you can see the beautiful sea shells printed on this and I wanted to use this on my project.
Then I glued some corrugated sheets here and there and made some texture using grainy texture paste, cheesecloth and sea shells.

I painted the card using acrylic colors and spray paints. Added some moss and a chipboard fish. Then I added a sentiment "Fantastic day" to finish the look.

Card for Scrapping4fun

Hello Spidy

Hello Friends,

Today I'm sharing an altered cd. 
My son and I are big fans if Spiderman and he has a huge collection of Spiderman toys which includes his Kinder joy collection. He maintains a separate box for his Kinder joy toys. This Spidy that I used here in my project was slightly broken but he didn't want to throw it and I got this piece after so many requests and after agreeing that the final product will be a display in his room.
Lots of hard work...
I wanted to alter a CD since long and this theme just crossed my mind and I made this.

This CD got a coat of black gesso and using a stencil I created some texture. Added some negative chippies to give some height to my focal piece and then added these beautiful chipboard pieces. I gave a coat of black gesso to all the elements and finally added the toy.

After it dried completely I colored the piece with Blue and Black gold colors. Dry brushed some rust metallic paint and finnabair wax.
